About me:

I am James Saveker (a.k.a Jimbo / Jim / Jimmy), living in Birmingham, UK and using Ubuntu on the desktop. I'm a self confessed geek and a Free Software and GNU/Linux advocate. I research and develop on Free/Open Source Software whilst not at work.

Career Status:

Personal Hobbies:

  • I am an avid private pilot.
  • It is not uncommon for people to spot me on the Golf course on a weekend.
  • Working with and being part of the FOSS movement!
