I am James Saveker (a.k.a Jimbo / Jim / Jimmy), living in Birmingham, UK and using Ubuntu on the desktop. I'm a self confessed geek and a Free Software and GNU/Linux advocate. I research and develop on Free/Open Source Software whilst not at work.

I work as a Oracle PeopleSoft functional analyst. My day to day job entails gathering and understanding my clients requirements, advising them how best to achieve said requirements. Once we are agreed on the functional specification I follow the project from development through unit testing, system testing & user acceptance testing.

== Personal Hobbies: ==
 * I am an avid private pilot.
 * It is not uncommon for people to spot me on the Golf course on a weekend.
 * Working with and being part of the FOSS movement!
