My name is Jens Maucher and live in Kronau, Germany. My first contact with linux was 2002 with debian woody.
Since 2004 (Ubuntu 4.10) I am in touch with Ubuntu. Professionally i am a Bachelor Professional of Electrical Technology and Management (CCI)and furthermore IT specialist system integration. I am proud to be a part of the great community.

In my neighborhood I help people who switched from Microsoft to Ubuntu. I also support them via Jabber, IRC, etc.
and I am proud that they still have Ubuntu installed.
