| I started venturing into Linux back in early 2005. I had downloaded Ubuntu 5.04 because I had always heard many great things about it. However, it refused to install from a DVD drive, and as a result, I tried SuSE. Fast forward to May 2006: Dapper was becoming more and more popular, and I installed it and never went back to any other distribution. I haven't booted Windows in nearly a year (on my PC) and I have given out around 20 copies of Ubuntu since, and have personally installed around 10 on other's machines. | I started venturing into Linux back in late 2005.
