Step 1: Register a gmail or other jabber protocol account

http://mail.google.com/mail/signup will give you a functional jabber account.

Step 2: Enter your account information into gaim instant messenger

Step 3: Add the conference room to your jabber account in gaim instant messenger

• Start gaim and log on to your account.

• Go to Contacts -> Add chat.
