Ubuntu Hour

The March Ubuntu Hour will take place on the 31st of March, 2010. The meetup will take place at the Trinity Capital Hotel, Dublin and will start at 18:00. These are fun events for all users of Ubuntu. Everyone is welcome.

Open Jam, Global Jam with an Irish slant

The planning phase for the next Global Jam has begun. The Irish LoCo will host an Open Jam event which is a Global Jam with a few twists to suit the Irish circumstance. The outline plan is to have sessions for both the 27th and 28th of March.

OSS Barcamp

OSS Barcamp returns for 2010. The next OSS Barcamp will take place in Dublin on April 17th. More details to follow.

Limerick Meeting Featuring Ubuntu

On Saturday February 27th, Skynet, the University of Limerick Computer Society, hosted an afternoon of talks with Ubuntu in mind. The Keynote Speaker for this event was Matt Zimmerman of Canonical Ltd. It was a very entertaining and informative session and many of the related discussions went on well into the night. Ubuntu Hour Meet ups

The first Ubuntu Hour of 2010 took place on the 6th of January, 2010. The location for this inaugural ubuntu hour was the Trinity Capital Hotel, Dublin with a start time of 18:00.

The second January Ubuntu Hour took place on the 27th of January, 2010. Again, the location for this ubuntu hour was the Trinity Capital Hotel, Dublin with a start at 18:00. There was a good turnout throughout the course of the evening.

The February Ubuntu Hour took place on the 24th of February, 2010. As usual, the location for this Ubuntu Hour was the Trinity Capital Hotel, Dublin and it began at 18:00. A great chat was had by those who attended.
