The Indiana Ubuntu Local Community Team

Introduction

The Indiana Ubuntu Local Community Team is a group of Ubuntu users and enthusiasts from around the state of Indiana that are here to help each other learn the many ropes of Ubuntu. We are a great place for newcomers to seek help and education.

We also work to advocate free and open source solutions where possible, especially Ubuntu.

Upcoming Events

• A short road trip away from our fair borders, the [http://www.ohiolinux.org Ohio LinuxFest] will be taking place on September 29th in Columbus, OH. A team meetup is planned during lunch - team members are encouraged to wear [http://www.cafepress.com/inloco team apparel]

• The [http://www.openmindsconference.org K-12 Open Minds Conference] is taking place Tuesday thru Thursday, October 9-11 in Indianapolis.

• Gutsy Release Party! In honor of Gutsy's Release on Thursday, October 18, 2007 we're having a team dinner on Saturday, October 20, 2007 in Indianapolis. More information will be available as the details are finalized.
