== Introduction ==

The Indiana Ubuntu Local Community Team is a group of Ubuntu users and enthusiasts from around the state of Indiana that are here to help each other learn the many ropes of Ubuntu. We are a great place for newcomers to seek help and education.

We also work to advocate free and open source solutions where possible, especially Ubuntu.

 * We are planning to have a presence at the [http://www.ussg.iu.edu/indexa055.html?option=displaypage%26Itemid=78%26op=page%26SubMenu= IU Linux Fest] this year under the auspices of either the [http://www.cinlug.org Central Indiana Linux Users' Group], the [http://www.bloomingtonlinux.org Bloomington Linux Users' Group], or both. We will have a couple of laptops for people to be able to demo Ubuntu, both with and without some Beryl eye-candy. We have asked for a Conference Pack from Canonical, and it's been shipped, it will hopefully arrive on time. SimonARuiz will be giving a presentation about the use of Ubuntu at Bloomington High School North.
