This page started October 31, 2011 by Michael Kaulbach for the purpose of working on the cleanup of Ubottu's factoids as mentioned in part by a request in the #ubuntu-irc mailing-list, "New roles in the Ubuntu IRC team"
Objectives
- Remove obsolete factoids
- Update outdated factoids
- Tidy up factoid aliases
- Provide a collaborative method of factoid review and updates
Methodology
(as of Oct 31, 2011)
Under the heading "Candidates For Removal", sections containing:
Factoid name (including aliases), Factoid content, Reason (please include your name), Notes/Actions taken (please include your name)
Sample Criteria: Factoids with obsolete information, inaccurate information, potentially harmful, and cannot or will not be updated.
Under the heading "Candidates For Update", sections containing:
Factoid name (including aliases), Factoid content, Reason/Proposed update (please include your name), Notes/Actions taken (please include your name)
Sample Criteria: Factoids with useful but outdated information, with typographical errors, broken links, could be made more succinct or verbose.
The current table format for both headings is currently:

Under the heading "Remarks:"
Comments regarding anything which does not fit under the first two headings.
