All Itanium platforms should be supported, although no effort is being made to support Itanium 1. The only known issues with this install CD are:
 * During the install, it will drop to the menu at elilo-installer. Get to a shell, edit /var/lib/dpkg/info/elilo-installer.postinst, find db_fget, and make "seen" the second argument instead of the first (by swapping the arguments). Get back to the menu and redo the elilo-installer step. (This is fixed in breezy.)
 * server install requires manual specification of the preseed file (details to follow).
 * Firefox has issues.

Expect changes soon in the boot options on the installer CD, as we make them more rational. All HP Itanium 2 machines are believed to work. Itanium 1 may fail during X startup (missing Nvidia proprietary driver), but Itanium 1 is not on our target list.

As far as I know, all HP Itanium 2 machines are supported. Itanium 1 may fail during X startup (missing Nvidia proprietary driver), but Itanium 1 is not on our target list. Apparently some installer issues on at least one other platform.
