| A great many websites have videos embedded in the website. To view those, some steps are needed. == Ubuntu 5.10 (Breezy Badger) == This version of Ubuntu ships with a plugin already enabled. However, some multimedia formats cannot be supported by Ubuntu by default. Please see RestrictedFormats to make them work. == Ubuntu 5.04 (Hoary Hedgehog) and 4.10 (Warty Warthog) == These releases do not ship a plugin. To watch these files, the simplest way is to send them to an external application, such as Totem. Install the Firefox [https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?application=firefox&numpg=10&id=446 MediaPlayer Connectivity] which allows you to click on the video to launch it in Totem. In addition, some of the videos require codecs not installed by default. See RestrictedFormats for further information. CategoryDocumentation |
