A great many websites have videos embedded in the website. To view those, some steps are needed.

== Ubuntu 5.10 (Breezy Badger) ==

This version of Ubuntu ships with a plugin already enabled. However, some multimedia formats cannot be supported by Ubuntu by default. Please see RestrictedFormats to make them work.

== Ubuntu 5.04 (Hoary Hedgehog) and 4.10 (Warty Warthog) ==

These releases do not ship a plugin. To watch these files, the simplest way is to send them to an external application, such as Totem. Install the Firefox [https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?application=firefox&numpg=10&id=446 MediaPlayer Connectivity] which allows you to click on the video to launch it in Totem.In addition, some of the videos require codecs not installed by default. See RestrictedFormats for further information.
