I'm no developer but a user of Ubuntu, if I can offer support it's in the part of translation and maybe some testing of software userfriendliness. If I can use it, your grandmom can use it! Besides this kind of support I can sustain the Ubuntu project with Communication, mediation and marketing efforts, trying to promote the Ubuntu project and come up with new services and tools!
I'm highly interested in communication tools, I use Thunderbird by the way in stead of Evolution, no matter what people say about Evolution, I miss the 3-pane vertical view! So if that issue is resolved, I might opt for Evolution over Thunderbird as I miss the calendar functionality! Furthermore I'm chatting by jabber, in stead of MSN and Yahoo, though I'm still connected to those two. I did switch however from a jabber-sever to the google-server as it's integrated with my email client. I like to keep things easy. I still look forward to Gaim being able to use the Google Talk "voip" specs! As well as the Google jabber-server being able to port MSN and Yahoo! It will enable me to switch to some GNU-voip in stead of using Skype!
Last I'm still trying to figure out what the advantage of Ekiga is over Skype, as I know none who uses it! Maybe someday all those voip networks just cut the bull*** and connect, like in email!
And not least, Ubuntu just rocks, and I must say this site is improving like Ubuntu is as well! I will stick here for a while, feel free to contact me anytime for anything. And if you're working on bizz in the lowlands, contact me as I do too!
