This page records the agenda for the next meeting of the Ubuntu Developer Membership Board.

How to Apply

Before putting yourself on the schedule, read this section in its entirety.

See DeveloperMembershipBoard/ApplicationProcess for full instructions. This section only describes the administrative matter of arranging your application meeting.

To apply for upload permissions:

1. Pick a suitable application meeting slot. It must be at least one week away. The Developer Membership Board will consider a maximum of one applicant per meeting regardless of the type of application, so meeting slots that already have an applicant are not available.

2. Add your name to the agenda below, linking to your application page.

3. Announce your application and selected meeting date by writing an email to the devel-permissions@ list, which includes:

   • - the link to your wiki page application.
   • - the date of your meeting date and a link to the agenda.

Meetings are held Mondays fortnightly on Google Meet, or on request IRC in #ubuntu-meeting on Libera.

every two weeks on Monday alternating between 13:00 UTC and 15:30 UTC list all meetings for the year to avoid needing to update after each mtg

  • (unassigned) pkgset tooling needs full documentation and automation

  • paelzer - Discuss and land PR to clarify expectations https://github.com/ubuntu/ubuntu-project-docs/pull/159

  • rbasak - continue driving the discussion on adding packages to the Ubuntu desktop package set
    • Some packages in the discussion can be added as-is. To do so filter the remainder of the list to identify packages that are not seeded
    • The definition of desktop extra needs to be discussed so we know what it is meant to include
  • paelzer - set up discourse category for "Ubuntu Developer Membership", create example application template there, PR for the docs outlining its usage (wiki still allowed, but discourse as well for an interim time)

After the meeting

If adding agenda items, please place them as subitems of the appropriate major item above. Please also prefix your entry with a number indicating the order of application.
