The Ubuntu Desktop unfortunately has bugs. This is how we cope with them.

How to Triage

Are you new to bug triage? Most frequent questions have already been answered here.

You may also be interested in some useful debugging tips to get more information about a problem.

If you really want to get started, you have read the above documents, and you still feel like "What am I supposed to do?" Don't worry, that's how we all felt when we started.

Bitesize tasks
Bugs that should be filed upstream
Bugs that haven't been touched in a while
Old bugs with 'New' status
Old bugs with 'Incomplete' status
Bugs with patches attached (it'd be nice if you could either comment or test them to make inclusion easier)
