Milestoned Features for alpha-3:

  • dx-m-app-menubar

    • Continued to add features for test suites
  • dx-m-gtk-enhancements

    • Nothing to report
  • dx-m-sound-menu-v2

    • New transport widget added. Drawn with Cairo, it comes very close to replicating Otto's design (thanks Mirco!).
    • Applications which register with the menu will now be saved in a cache file provided they inform their libindicate server of the whereabouts of their Desktop file.
      • This enables the menu to present the player as if it were launched. By clicking on the name of the app in the new custom title widget (with new icon), the application will be launched. The ubuntu-mono package (0.1.9) contains the icon which is used to sit along side the application (sound_icon). The whole area of theme respecting design needs some attention.
  • dx-m-indicator-clock

    • Converted datetime into a service architecture to be extended
  • dx-m-indicator-me

    • Nothing to report
