.- I have been a linux user since about 1997. I ran Redhat, until they stopped distributing a free version.
I installed Ubuntu in 2005. I run it on a 2003 vintage Toshiba 1800 laptop. Almost everything runs fine on it (except it will not reboot), and it does what I need. Sometime soon though, I would like to install a wireless network card.
