Clear message

Please use this page to nominate items for discussion by the Ubuntu Community Council. See the [http://www.ubuntu.com/community/processes/council Community Council] page for more information about the Council.

The next meeting of the Council will be on a date and time still to be decided (between 20 and 24 february)

Agenda

If you put an item on the agenda, you will have to show up. Otherwise the item will be deleted from the agenda. Make sure you add your name to items you add (except of course for new member proposals)

General Agenda Items and Proposals

  • Increase the number of IRC ops/moderators in the major Ubuntu channels, especially #ubuntu. The 24hr nature of the channel - and the fact that the current ops are all busy people - has meant inadequate moderator coverage at times -- Madpilot
    • For #ubuntu I (DennisKaarsemaker) fully support this and want to propose the following people, both caring and active members of the IRC chat

      • Brian "Madpilot" Burger

  • Any other business

Locoteams

If you create a locoteam, add yourself to the LoCoTeamList and contact MatthiasUrlichs. When you are ready to become an "official" team, or if you have anything locoteam-related you want to discuss with the Community Council, add your team to this list and show up at the next CC meeting please.

  • Add your team here (include the name of the contact)

Member candidates for consideration

Before applying for membership, please read the NewMemberHowto. If it is clear that you did not read it, your name might be deleted because otherwise the meetings will take too much time.

Member candidates for next meeting

  • VenkatRaghavan

  • Add new candidates here. Do not add yourself before you read the NewMemberHowto and are fairly sure you can make it to the meeting.
