I'm a Project Manager who used to know a lot about computers. But my current role is largely irrelevant here. I do remember enough about my former roles (incl. Sys Admin on AT&T 3b2 600 and SUN Sparc 1+) to add the stresses in the right places in my opening sentence :-).

I started using Ubuntu with a 6.10 Edgy install on a DELL Inspiron 1100.
