The following machines are responsible for building live filesystems for our desktop CDs:

  • amd64: king

  • hppa: castilla

  • i386: terranova

  • ia64: weddell

  • powerpc: royal

  • sparc: vivies

All of these machines are accessible as HOSTNAME.buildd within the Canonical datacentre.
