BibleTime is a Bible program which runs under almost any Linux and is focused on the [[http://www.kde.org/|KDE]] window manager rather than [[http://www.gnome.org/|GNOME]] (as [[Xiphos]] is). It is included as a component of [[DerivativeTeam/Derivatives/ChristianUbuntu|ChristianUbuntu]].

BibleTime is a sub-project of the [[http://www.crosswire.org/sword/|Sword]] Bible access project, which provides the basic library files, [[http://www.crosswire.org/sword/modules/ModDisp.jsp?modType=Bibles|assorted free Bible texts]], access to not-so-free Bible texts, Bible access programs ("clients") for Linux, Macintosh, Windows and other platforms.

BibleTime is a Bible study application built with Qt4, using the Sword programming library to work with Bible texts, commentaries, dictionaries and books provided by the Crosswire Bible Society.
