Read the introduction on the BeginnersTeam homepage and look over the numerous subsections of the wiki listed in the header to ensure this is the right team for you. Decide which Focus Group you want to join.

If you do not already have one, make a wiki page.

Send an Email to the ML introducing yourself and which Focus Group you wish to work with.

Have a wiki page

provide at least one recommendation from someone outside BT who can attest to the quality of your contribution. Something like:

"I've worked with foo for the past x weeks on the bar team. He has been doing some terrific work on _". I can support the quality of his work, and believe foo is here to stay.
