The first is to create an environment where Beginners Team members can program in a relaxed setting with people they know very well. The second goal is to leverage the talent to create applications that enhance the new user's experience with Ubuntu. The Development team requires a very strict skill set, one of the more difficult focus groups to become a full member in. || | ||<tablestyle="width: 60%"style="border:none">The Development Focus Group is associated with the MOTU (Masters of the Universe Team || |

Introduction
Beginners Team Mission The Ubuntu Beginners Team exists to enhance the initial experience of new Ubuntu users and to guide existing Ubuntu users to become part of the global Ubuntu community.
Focus Groups fall under either:
[A] to enhance the initial experience of new Ubuntu users
[B] to guide existing Ubuntu users to become part of the global Ubuntu community
Prospective Members can participate and join Focus Groups. The only thing we ask is that you do not add your name to the launchpad group for that Focus Group until you are a full member of the team. |

Documentation
Group Description
The Wiki focus group primarily works on keeping the Community Docs (the community-driven wiki) up to date. Members will usually work directly with the DocumentationTeam and are also welcome to work on system documentation that ships with the Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Xubuntu and Edubuntu OS's. The group works to keep the Ubuntu Wiki site concise and understandable for both the new and experienced user. |
