About Us

The Support Focus Group of the Ubuntu Beginners Team exists to help new users make the transition to Ubuntu. This transition could be from OS X, Windows, BSD or another flavor of Linux. Focus Group Members answer questions on the Ubuntu forums, irc, askubuntu.com or in-person events; we do not care about the medium.

Objectives

  • Setting up a backup to protect their valuable data
  • Finding alternative applications to get the 'job' done

Joining the Focus Group

If you are interested in joining the Support Focus Group you need to be a Member or a Prospective Member of the Ubuntu Beginners Team. If you are already a member please join the Focus Group on Launchpad. If you are not a member of the Ubuntu Beginners Team, and just a prospective member of the team you can join and participate with the team, we just ask you do not join the Support FG Launchpad Team until you are a full member.
