Education(Old)
Purpose
The Education Focus Group provides opportunities for Linux users to learn more about the OS and using Linux. The opportunities include:
- Links to setup, maintenance and troubleshooting articles for Ubuntu
- Links to moderate to advanced topics such as bash scripting, compiling your own kernel and security
- Live IRC sessions hosted by BT Mentors or invited guests
Mentors
Mentors serve dual roles:
- Mentor people seeking to become BT members (padawan)
- Mentor members on moderate to advanced topics
If you would like to become a mentor, send PrivateVoid a message via the Ubuntu Forums or talk to him live #ubutuforums-beginners on irc.freenode.net
