| The Education Focus group is here to provide an environment to hold sessions to educate users on moderate to advanced topics. We have a collection of "Mentors" that will take a proposed topic, and run a session on the topic. = Mentors = == Overview == Our mentors are the driving force behind the group. If you would like to become a mentor, shoot me an email at mentors [ at ] paultags [ dot ] com, or on IRC. The mentor IRC channel is located at ##beginners-classroom on irc.freenode.net. == Active Mentors == bodhi_zazen ( Bodhi Zazen )<
> paultag ( Paul Tagliamonte )<
> ajmorris (Andrew Morris)<
> Joeb454 ( Joe Barker )<
> st33med ( st33med )<
> vor ( vor-ubuntu )<
> speeddemon8803 ( Alan Munson ) <
> nhandler (Nathan Handler) <
> == Inactive Mentors == == Reserve Mentors == = Schedule = Post future sessions here. = Ideas = == Bash & the CLI. == === Proposed By: === *paultag - May 6th, 08. === Mentors: === *ajmorris === Topics: === *None Yet == Basic Security Practices == === Proposed By: === *paultag - May 6th, 08. === Mentors: === *Alan_M === Topics: === *None Yet == Basic Scripting == === Proposed By: === *paultag - May 6th, 08. === Mentors: === *st33med === Topics: === *Python 101<
> Basic Python introduction.
