attachment:baishampayan-head.png Hello I am Baishampayan Ghose and I am a upcoming Ubuntu/Debian Developer from India. I am using GNU/Linux since the past eight years and Ubuntu ever since Warty came out. I am also a Board member of the Free Software Foundation of India. As of now, I don't have any direct contributions to Ubuntu per se, but I am a regular contributor to the Debian project, which I guess percolates down to Ubuntu any way. My contributions to Debian & Ubuntu so far are --

• I am the maintainer of the Bengali (bn) translations to the Debian Graphical Installer

• I maintain two Debian packages which are in the main repository, (freetalk & itrans) with more coming up soon [http://qa.debian.org/developer.php?login=b.ghose@gnu.org.in]

• I am the leader of the Indian LoCoTeam [IndianTeam]

• I am the leader of the Bengali (bn_IN) translations team in Rosetta [https://launchpad.net/people/ubuntu-l10n-bn-in]

• I have reviewed/cleaned up patches on motu-reviewers and got the fixes uploaded
• I have done numerous translations on Rosetta
• ...
