Roadmap
State LUG Collaboration: Contact and pooling of resources with the state LUGs and users groups to promote events to further Ubuntu as a alternative method of computing using desktop, server, and mobile versions. We have already established a relationship with [http://plug.phoenix.az.us Phoenix LUG(plugaz)] and the [http://www.devrylinux.org DeVry LUG(Phoenix)]. We plan to further expand our relations with the following: [http://www.lugy.net LUG of Yavapai], [http://www.tfug.org/ tfug(Tucson)], [http://www.aztcs.org/ Tucson Computer Society], [http://asulug.org/ ASU LUG],and [http://www.flaglug.org/ LUNA(Flagstaff LUG)].
State Wide Barcamp: It is our plan to co-host an [https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ArizonaTeam/OpenSourceConference BarCamp] in Phoenix in later part of 2008. This is an event that we are in the early stages of planning, but should help to advocate for Ubuntu, Open Source Education, and a milestone event to help cement relations between our LoCo and the sate LUGs.
