About Me

I'm a C and dynamic language (Python, Perl, Ruby, etc) hacker, living in the Pacific Northwest. I'm the technical architect of Ubuntu, chief architect of the Parrot virtual machine, one of the main developers of Pynie, an implementation of Python 3 on Parrot, and on the board of directors of the Python Software Foundation. I've maintained the Debian and Ubuntu Parrot packages since 2006.

I started using Linux in the '90s: Slackware, then Debian, and then Ubuntu, experimenting with other distros along the way.
