I'm a C and Perl hacker, living in Bristol, UK. I'm the architect of the Parrot virtual machine, one of the main developers of Pynie, an implementation of Python 3 on Parrot, and on the board of directors of the Python Software Foundation. I've maintained the Debian and Ubuntu Parrot packages since 2007.

I started using Linux in 1999: Slackware, then Debian, and then Ubuntu, experimenting with other distros along the way.
