Hardy Heron Maintenance Update 1 (8.04.1 LTS) has been released. To find more info on the update please visit the Release Announcement. For help with any version of Hardy Heron, visit the Documentation for Ubuntu 8.04 LTS.
The Alabama Team is going to shoot for getting Approved LoCo status. We need to look at what it will take to finish the requirements for gaining Approved LoCo status. Currently, there are 16 Approved US teams. There will be a checklist up on the wiki to outline the steps that we need to do for submitting our Approval Application.

The Alabama Team is a group of enthusiastic Ubuntu users who want to help spread the word and help others do the same about Ubuntu Linux in the Alabama area. We will supply tech help, advice, and support to those who need it. Install fests, tech shows, and meetings will be scheduled.
