This page keeps track of the current release status of the ARM Team.

Summary

  • oem-config issues with the current images (Bug #616581) were fixed with teh most recent ubiquity upload
  • ubuntu-netbook-efl-default-settings is still pending fixes to the default 2D session for which we will need freeze exceptions (this package only shows up on the armel images)
  • ongoing "normal" work on main ftbfs, most packages from main are off the list
  • a massive issue with networking that tears down the whole board has been worked around (the new silicon we're about to get will fix that)
  • dove images are building regulary now

Image Status

  • omap preinstalled images build fine but do finally run oem-config again, sime issues with jasper were fixed that prevented rebooting after the filesystem was resized

Bugs with fix committed/released status:

  • 591941:SDHC card not recognized

Bugs with SRU status:

  • 571192:suspend/resume is currently broken on imx51 - Kernel in proposed still fails to suspend/resume.

Bugs targeted for Beta:

  • 600359:ureadahead generating oom messages during boot.

  • 605972:Need to set hostname to ubuntu during first boot.

  • 605488:BUG: scheduling while atomic: mmcqd/46/0x00000002

  • 605831:[omap3] Resolution should be taken from /proc/cmdline if provided

  • 615400: initramfs-tools fails to upgrade on omap3 lucid->maverick upgrades

  • 613855: omap3 beagle XM MMC card always comes up readonly

  • 616614: u-boot upstream hangs at "mmc init 1" when compiled with gcc 4.5.1 (native or cross)

  • 613230: u-boot fails to load new kernel from boot partition after kernel update

  • 620495: F-spot crashes on armel

  • 619981: banshee crashes on armel
