Summary

  • new rootstock release in preparation by rsalveti
  • omap3/4 image build issues are being debugged and worked on (we are running out of inodes on the preinstalled images atm, fix pending)
  • ubuntu-netbook-efl-default-settings was uploaded (sitting in NEW, MIR pending) to fix the session issues with the efl launcher
  • ongoing "normal" work on main ftbfs
  • mobile-m-lightweight-panel-for-efl spec was dropped
  • mobile-maverick-arm-improved-subarch-detection had its items sorted for beta vs feature freeze
  • mobile-m-omap-edid-autodetection was also split into two parts for FF vs beta
  • apparently a security kernel upgrade kills babbage boards, this was discovered during the sprint and is researched by freescale and the kernel team currently

Image Status

  • omap preinstalled images fail to build due to the above inode issues, fix is ready and being tested atm
  • preinstalled images have seen many more bugfixes

Bugs with fix committed/released:

  • 601226:OOPS with parport_pc module

  • 600261: Need to calculate md5sums for arm preinstalled images

  • 600487:system fails to launch netbook-launcher-efl on arm system

  • 603604:u-boot in maverick lacks proper XM support

Bugs with SRU status:

  • 571192:suspend/resume is currently broken on imx51 - Kernel in proposed still fails to suspend/resume.

Bugs targeted for Alpha3:

  • 591941:SDHC card not recognized

  • 600359:ureadahead generating oom messages during boot.

  • 605972:Need to set hostname to ubuntu during first boot.

  • 605488:BUG: scheduling while atomic: mmcqd/46/0x00000002

  • 605831:[omap3] Resolution should be taken from /proc/cmdline if provided

  • 605739:BUG: Bad page state in process swapper pfn:94d23

  • 611638:[MIR] please include ubuntu-netbook-efl-default-settings in ubuntu maverick main
