Summary

  • omap kernel and preinstalled image enablement: omap4 kernel package available, omap3 kernel 594382 was fixed but 597904 broke display output now.

  • ongoing work on main ftbfs: gobject-introspection was fixed
    • KDE/Kubuntu stack still broken due to kdebindings, work ongoing
  • work towards A2 for preinstalled omap (oem like) netbook images

  • MIR for jasper-initramfs (595947) is a critical blocker grinding us to a full halt wrt image builds

Image Status

  • omap - working kernel for omap3 broke again due to display issues, omap4 binary available, display issues as well (possible to work around through cmdline option)
  • preinstalled image support for ARM was merged, some issues with livecd-rootfs found

Bugs with fix committed/released:

  • 586386:omap3 kernel should hand over all cmdline args to the init environment

  • 594382:Wake up daisy chain activation failed on omap3

  • 595949:linux-meta-ti-omap depends on the wrong binary kernel in maverick

  • 509006:[dove] hibernation failed to resume - kernel in proposed was verified ok.
