Summary

  • omap kernel and preinstalled image enablement (we're waiting for an omap4 kernel package, omap3 kernel turned unbootable since switch to 2.6.35 due to 594382, cant roill images due to wrong dependency of linux-image-omap 595949)

  • ongoing work on main ftbfs focus is on gobject-introspection to get dependency chain fixed for image builds
  • work towards A2 for preinstalled omap (oem like) netbook images
  • team renaming largely done

Image Status

  • omap - working kernel for omap3 broke again, omap4 binary missing yet
  • preinstalled image support for ARM is ongoing, and preparing to be reviewed and merged
  • work on jasper (preinstalled image first boot tool), continues, MIR ready

Bugs with fix committed/released:

  • 592045:MIR for omap3 and 4 bootloaders

Bugs in SRU state:

  • 509006:[dove] hibernation failed to resume (kernel in -proposed was verified in time but was superseded by security upload before moving to -updates)

  • 559065:ifconfig eth0 down will cause system hang after fec.c driver update (kernel in -proposed was verified in time but was superseded by security upload before moving to -updates)

  • 571192:suspend/resume is currently broken on imx51

Bugs targeted for Alpha2:

  • 592688:Timing issues with certain SD cards on beagleboard

  • 586386:omap3 kernel should hand over all cmdline args to the init environment

Blockers:

  • 595947:MIR for jasper-initramfs

  • 589624:omap3 flavour does not work on beagle XM board

  • 594382:Wake up daisy chain activation failed on omap3

  • 595949:linux-meta-ti-omap depends on the wrong binary kernel in maverick
